Barracuda Networks offers a range of modems as USB pluggable add-ons for all Barracuda CloudGen Firewall and Secure Connector appliances. The standardized Barracuda USB modems provide support for wireless broadband communication using 2G/3G/4G technologies, supporting bandwidths up to 150 Mbps, and thus provide a cost effective alternative to xDSL and ISDN uplinks or failover lines.
Barracuda Networks' high speed USB modems M40 (4G/LTE,Europe/Asia) and M41 (4G/LTE,North America) are supplied as ruggedized form factor 4G LTE modems and support CloudGen Firewall SD-WAN. The modems M40 and M41 are compatible for all Barracuda CloudGen Firewall Models F10-F1000 and are supported for Secure Connector 1 (SC1) and Secure Connector 2 (SC2), supporting bandwidths up to 150 Mbps downstream and 50 Mbps upstream.
